20.04 Without prejudice to the position that the employer or the Union wishes to adopt in the future on the appropriateness of regulating collective agreements, the themes that can be defined for joint consultation are dealt with with the agreement of the parties. This appendix is considered to be part of all collective agreements between the parties and the workers who are supposed to give them access to this schedule. 28.03 Payments made under the provisions of the collective agreement and clause 28.01 mentioned above cannot be implemented, i.e. a worker does not receive more than one benefit for the same benefit. “We are pleased to have reached another agreement with the Public Service Alliance of Canada and are encouraged by the progress we are making in our negotiations. Once again, this interim agreement shows that our government remains committed to agreements that are aware of today`s economic and fiscal environment, fair to workers and reasonable to Canadians. 1.01 The aim of this agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relations between the employer, the Union and the workers, by establishing certain conditions of employment which have been agreed by collective bargaining. Collective agreements will not be updated until they formally enter into force, after both parties have “signed” the document in question. The contracting parties acknowledge that an extension of these clauses is done without prejudice or unprecedented and that the parties do not bind in any way to a particular position that they might wish to take in overtime, the transfer and/or liquidation of vacation leave or cash compensation or compensation in cash or with wage issues during a collective bargaining cycle. 1.1.32 Severance pay and other benefits arising from other clauses of collective agreements are separate from those mentioned in this appendix and beyond. 17.04 The employer appoints a representative at each level of the appeal process and informs any worker about the name or title of the person so designated of the name or title of the person thus designated, as well as the name or title and address of the direct line manager or the competent local official to whom a complaint is to be filed.
